Of all the places you could be, I’m grateful that you found your way here to learn more about me. In my younger years, I often found myself staring up at the clouds during the day and up at the stars late in the night; counting the planes fly by one by one. I would daydream of possibilities that could be happening if I was on that plane; where I could be going, what I could be doing, and what kind of person I could be. With every potential outcome, there was a sense of excitement and hope of all the possible ways I could create new stories and experiences. What makes us so distinctly human is to hope; to have a deep need or profound yearning for the idea of betterment. In a way, this began my deep curiosity and amazement of the human experience. In therapy, I hope to provide a space where you can begin to see, explore, and cultivate the possibilities in you.

Poiesis (pronounced as "poy-EE-suhss") is etymologically derived from ancient Greek and means to bring forth, make, create, or produce. It is related to the word poetry, which shares the same roots. Poiesis is often associated with the skill of a master craftsmen who uses their knowledge to work on their craft and bring out its best qualities. Similarly, pulling from a holistic lens, our goal in therapy is to provide an open and non-judgmental space to help you in creating your personal wellness and healing journey. In the therapeutic process, we work together to bring forth your authentic being through strengthening the parts of you that already exist, challenging current narratives, building a sense of curiosity to help craft new possibilities in a meaningful way, and create a sense of home within yourself through holistic body centered modalities.
